Junior Collections Assistant

Description

Support the Credit team by assisting with collecting overdue client payments, issuing demand letters, and maintaining strong client relationships. Perform administrative and tracing activities to enhance the collections process.

Responsibilities

•  Issue Letters of Demand for overdue accounts
•  Send listing notifications to clients about overdue payments
•  Issue Adverse Listing Notices for unresolved debts
•  Manage ticket allocations on Zendesk
•  Conduct research and trace individuals/businesses with overdue accounts
•  Provide administrative support to collection analysts

Requirements

•  Matric certificate or equivalent
•  Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
•  Strong numerical ability
•  Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment
•  Strong people skills
