Description

Support the Manager: Portfolio Analytics in executing the credit risk mandate, focusing on setting, reviewing, and monitoring credit risk appetite for Everyday Banking (retail unsecured lending).

Provide strategic analytics for credit risk, enabling actionable insights to achieve profit targets and responsible book growth.

Responsibilities

•  Set, review, and monitor credit risk appetite thresholds and assumptions.
•  Produce monthly Portfolio Quality Review reports and monitor portfolio movements and key risk metrics.
•  Identify and mitigate credit risks and diagnose root causes of book behavior concerns.
•  Support responsible book growth and credit risk management.
•  Liaise with teams such as Risk Measurement, Model Development, Acquisitions, Finance, and Collections to manage portfolio shape and concentrations effectively.

Requirements

•  Bachelor’s degree in risk management, statistical analysis, actuarial science, business mathematics, econometrics, or a related field (postgraduate preferred).
•  0-4 years of credit risk experience.
•  Proficiency in SAS (Base, Enterprise Guide, or Viya).
•  Advanced MS Excel skills.
•  Understanding of credit risk and statistical modeling.
•  Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
