Junior Bank Teller (C&B)

Description

The Junior Bank Teller is responsible for processing bank teller transactions, ensuring cash management, assisting customers with various transactions, maintaining records, and adhering to compliance and risk management protocols. The role focuses on excellent customer service and identifying sales leads.

Responsibilities

•  Process cash & related transactions, manage the cash float
•  Dispense and receive physical cash, cheques, drafts, and other financial instruments
•  Ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing transactions
•  Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries
•  Educate customers on bank products and alternative ways of transacting
•  Identify and action sales leads and cross-selling opportunities
•  Follow all compliance and risk management procedures
•  Ensure a neat, tidy workstation and adhere to corporate image standards

Requirements

•  Further Education and Training Certificate (FETC): Business, Commerce, and Management Studies
•  0-1 years of retail or banking experience
•  Basic computer literacy
