Virtual Financial Advisor - Learnership

Description

Absa Group is offering a 12-month learnership opportunity for unemployed individuals interested in becoming Virtual Financial Advisors. This program is ideal for candidates who have completed a Diploma in Finance and offers an advantage to those with Financial Planning qualifications or RE5 certification. The learnership will commence on April 1, 2025 and will provide training and hands-on experience in sales, customer service, financial advisory, and compliance with financial regulations.

Responsibilities

•  Facilitate seamless sales activation, conversion, and fulfilment for new and existing customers.
•  Deepen customer relationships through consultative engagement to increase loyalty and business referrals.
•  Apply financial knowledge to ensure smooth fulfillment of sales and timely reporting on customer queries.
•  Investigate and resolve credit- and fraud-related referrals, escalating when necessary.
•  Interact with various customer segments to enhance brand experience.
•  Manage transactional activities and adjust daily workforce plans and schedules.
•  Record and report on key trends and provide insights through monthly reports.
•  Ensure compliance with all internal and external risk and governance policies, standards, and procedures.
•  Adhere to NCA (National Credit Act), FICA (Financial Intelligence Centre Act), and FAIS (Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act) regulations.

Requirements

•  Completed Diploma in Finance
•  Unemployed and available for a 12-month learnership starting April 1, 2025
•  Financial Planning qualifications (advantageous)
•  RE5 certification (preferred)
