Pharmacy Sales Assistant

Description

A customer-focused retail sales role responsible for: Assisting customers with product selection. Processing payments at the Point of Sale (POS). Maintaining stock and merchandising displays. Handling customer queries and refunds.

Responsibilities

•  💰 Handling payments & balancing sales receipts.
•  🛒 Restocking & organizing the sales floor.
•  🏷 Conducting price audits & fixing discrepancies.
•  🛍 Processing customer purchases using POS systems.
•  📢 Staying updated on promotions & special offers.
•  🧹 Housekeeping & maintaining merchandising standards.
•  📞 Handling customer queries & escalating when needed.

Requirements

•  📜 Grade 12 qualification (Compulsory)
•  🛍 At least 5 months of retail/till point experience.
•  💳 Experience handling payments (cash, cards, vouchers).

Skills & Competencies

•  ✔ Solid customer service knowledge.
•  ✔ Understanding of stock receiving & merchandising.
•  ✔ Computer literate (POS system experience is a plus).
•  ✔ Bilingual (preferably Afrikaans & English).
•  ✔ Friendly, engaging, & strong attention to detail.
•  ✔ Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
