Description

The Engineering Intern will focus on developing technical documentation for complex systems, ensuring information is accessible and clear to specific end-users. This role requires collaboration with technical experts to translate complex technical concepts into written language through various mediums while adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities

•  Create user manuals, operation guides, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
•  Ensure all documentation adheres to company standards and style guides.
•  Maintain consistency in terminology and formatting across documents.
•  Conduct in-depth research on equipment and machinery.
•  Collect and organize technical information from engineers, product designers, and existing documentation.
•  Collaborate with design teams to include technical illustrations and diagrams.
•  Create or edit visuals to simplify complex concepts.
•  Review and revise documents for clarity, accuracy, and completeness.
•  Proofread content for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors.
•  Work closely with engineers and stakeholders to clarify technical information.
•  Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on documentation improvements.
•  Maintain and update documentation systematically.
•  Use document management systems to track changes and manage document versions.

Requirements

•  BTech/BEng in Mechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering.

Skills & Competencies

•  Advanced proficiency in English, with exceptional writing skills focused on clarity, conciseness, and accuracy.
•  Advanced literacy in MS Word.
•  Strong technical aptitude to understand complex systems and concepts.
•  Meticulous attention to detail for ensuring accuracy and consistency.
