Starke Ayres is the foremost African specialist and global supplier of premium vegetable, flower and lawn seed varieties – both for commercial and home garden planting. The following position has become available for an Admin Assistant, based in Kempton Park. The purpose of this role is to provide administrative back-up and support to the Quality Assurance Department by ensuring that test/quality data is collated, recorded, maintained and communicated to the relevant parties.

Responsibilities

•  General quality determination.
•  Genetic verification (grow-outs).
•  Pathology tests.
•  General quality determination.
•  Genetic verification (grow-outs).
•  Pathology tests.
•  Stock due for testing reports.
•  Assist with orders for technical items required for the labs.
•  Depot temperature reports.
•  GLOBALGAP reports.
•  Laboratory certificates.

Requirements

•  Grade 12 National Senior Certificate.
•  Have a Drivers license.
•  Own reliable transport.
