Description

The Trainee Miller will support the mill's shift operations to achieve production efficiencies, maintain quality standards, and adhere to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), safety, and hygiene requirements. This role involves assisting with mill maintenance, monitoring quality, and ensuring smooth shift handovers.

Responsibilities

•  Assist with shift handovers and ensure seamless operations.
•  Support the achievement of production efficiencies and targets.
•  Assist with mill maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure optimal operations.
•  Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices.
•  Maintain and uphold safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

•  Grade 12 or equivalent.
•  At least 1 year of experience in Maize Mill plants.
•  PC Literate (ICDL preferred).
•  Knowledge of safety and hygiene practices.
•  Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
