We at RCL FOODS are in search for a GENERAL WORKER to join our GROCERIES Business Unit/Division. The role will be based in RANDFONTEIN and report to the SENIOR LAB ANALYST. RCL FOODS is looking for an incumbent to:

Ensure the laboratory operates efficiently and safely by maintaining cleanliness, managing waste, and supporting compliance with management systems and procedures.

Responsibilities

•  Keeping the laboratory in a clean and neat state
•  Removal of samples and waste from the laboratory
•  Cleaning of glassware
•  Cleaning of floors and countertops
•  Cleaning of bathrooms
•  Transfer of consumables to the chemical store
•  Removal of waste from the laboratory
•  Identification of departures from the management system or from the procedures for performing tests.
•  Initiation of actions to prevent or minimize such departures
•  Removal of samples from the laboratory

Requirements

•  Grade 12/Matric
•  Basic hygiene practices
•  Good Communication Skills
•  Attention to details
