Signature Cosmetics is seeking enthusiastic Shop Assistants to join our team in Pretoria Central. As a Shop Assistant, you will create a welcoming and personalized shopping experience, drive sales by motivating team members, and ensure the store is visually appealing and fully stocked. You will manage stock levels, adhere to operational procedures, and support in achieving store goals. A passion for customer service, cosmetics, and beauty products is essential, as well as strong communication skills and a flexible approach to working hours.
Responsibilities
Create a welcoming, inspirational, and personalised experience for all customers.
Drive sales and turnover by motivating and inspiring team members to achieve sales targets.
Ensure visual merchandising standards create a beautiful store experience.
Maintain a clean, neat, and tidy, fully replenished sales floor.
Ensure stock levels, stock losses, and shrinkage are effectively managed.
Ensure all products are correctly priced with relevant price stickers and/or signage.
Ensure stock take and cycle count variance reports are checked, variances investigated, and stock shortages escalated to the Area Manager.
Adhere to point of sale and banking procedures, raising any areas of concern with the Area Manager.

Ensure all store standards, operations policies, and procedures are followed.
Effectively execute all operational activities within the store.
Requirements
A matric, grade 12, or equivalent certificate.
A passion for cosmetics, retail, and customer service.
Knowledge of beauty and skincare products.
Strong customer service orientation.
A strong work ethic and hands-on attitude.
Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
Basic proficiency with email and Excel.
Good communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and pleasant in pressurised situations.
Ability to stand for long periods.
Ability to demonstrate and promote products.
Ability to create a buzz in your store to motivate your team and attract repeat customers.
