Barron is seeking a Warehouse Clerk (Nightshift) in Johannesburg, Gauteng, to join their operations team. This permanent position involves monitoring inbound deliveries, managing supplier payments and returns, and ensuring accurate inventory control. The role is ideal for entry-level candidates interested in the textiles industry.
Monitor Inbound Deliveries: Collaborate with the supply team to list expected deliveries, receive shipments, verify contents, label and allocate deliveries, and report discrepancies.
Supplier Payments and Returns: Accurately register and receipt goods in the ERP system, facilitate supplier payments, and manage documentation for returns or replacements.
Manage Bond Outbound Deliveries: Create Bond SARS clearing instructions, validate SAD500 drafts, and update BoE details in the D365 system.
Inventory Control: Capture receiving data, update visual management boards, and monitor receiving and bond performance.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Address any issues that arise during the nightshift operations.
Housekeeping: Maintain tidy workstations by practicing basic housekeeping principles.
Health & Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety policies.
Requirements
Entry-level experience, preferably in a warehouse or operations environment.
Attention to detail for verifying shipments and managing inventory records.
