Description

Responsible for observing, recording and analysing the amount of time taken for specific tasks such as sanding, assembly, oiling and spraying in a manufacturing environment. The aim is to capture specific time requirements and efficiencies of the processes, to improve productivity, production processes and ensure resources are allocated effectively.

This is a 3-month contract based at our Cape Town DC in Epping.

Responsibilities

•  Data collection: Conduct detailed observations of each process to understand current practices and time consumption for the various tasks.
•  Analysis: Use data collected to identify areas for improvement and determine standard times for each task to be completed.
•  Reporting: Maintaining records and reports.
•  Documentation: Maintain accurate records of time studies, including methods, results, and any changes made because of the analysis.

Requirements

•  Matric.
•  Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office).
•  Industrial Engineering Graduates would be preferred.
•  Attention to detail.
