Junior Accountant

Description

Our client is looking for a self-motivated and organized Junior Accountant to provide administrative and financial support to their management team. This role is ideal for someone who has completed at least their second year of an accounting degree and is ready to gain practical experience in a dynamic, growing environment.

They are a modern and client-focused financial services provider currently operating remotely, with plans to rent office space in the Sinoville/Montana area. The position offers flexibility with monthly meetings and a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities

•  Handle registrations and activations on e-Filing
•  Finalize financial statements and save working papers in the correct format and order on the server
•  Complete tasks as assigned by management
•  Potential involvement with payroll and UIF
•  Direct communication with clients and reporting on client status
•  Use of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word especially beneficial)
•  Draft simple and professional communication to clients or SARS

Requirements

•  Completed at least the second year of an accounting degree
•  Final-year students are preferred
•  No specific work experience required, but a solid understanding of financial statements is essential
•  Organization and self-discipline are extremely important
•  Experience with eFiling is an advantage
•  General computer skills and ability to communicate professionally
