We are seeking a motivated Junior Sales Consultant with the potential to grow into a Senior Sales role. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to develop their skills in sales, customer service, and store operations. As a Junior Sales Consultant, you will play an essential part in maintaining the daily operations of the store and ensuring excellent customer service while working towards growing into a more senior role.
Responsibilities
Open and close the store safely and on time.
Maintain the store's presentation, ensuring it is immaculate and customer-ready at all times.
Assist with store sales, profitability, and maintaining the customer base.
Manage Krugerrand, Cast Bar, and Minted Bar orders with Head Office.
Ensure inventory on POS is accurate and report any issues.
Adhere to POS-related changes and report issues to the Store Manager.
Maintain stock essentials and escalate out-of-budget requests to the Financial Manager.

Drive excellent customer service standards and maintain a professional environment.
Engage in in-store marketing initiatives and brand promotion.
Ensure timely and professional communication with customers via email and phone.
Ensure all paperwork, sales, and purchase documents are completed accurately and uploaded onto the POS.
Assist with store audits and ensure compliance with all company systems and procedures.
Escalate any unusual or uncertain purchases and sales to the responsible person.
Ensure petty cash is handled, counted, and reported accurately.
Manage stock control from end to end, ensuring stock items are accounted for and procedures followed.
Raise approval notes for sold stock and maintain accountability for any discrepancies.
Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in both English and Afrikaans.
Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
Goal-oriented, organized, and a team player.
Good time management and a strong ethical approach.
Professional, well-groomed, and punctual.
