Description

The General Worker is responsible for cleaning offices, bathrooms, stockrooms, and kitchen areas to maintain a clean environment. They will serve tea and coffee to visitors, prepare meeting venues, and assist with general office administration duties as needed. The role also includes performing ad-hoc tasks assigned by management.

Responsibilities

•  Clean offices, bathrooms, stockrooms, and kitchen to ensure a healthy environment.
•  Serve tea/coffee to visitors and set up meeting venues with refreshments.
•  Assist with general office administration when cleaning duties are complete.
•  Perform any other tasks as requested by management.

Requirements

•  Grade 10.
•  Grade 12 (added advantage).
•  Driver’s License (added advantage).
•  Excellent interpersonal & communication skills (must be bilingual).
•  Ability to follow & execute given instructions.
•  Good physical health, basic skill & know how of doing physical work.
•  A hard-working self-disciplined person.
•  Must reside within jurisdication of Midvaal Local Municipality.
•  1 year relevant experience in general work as a cleaner within Midvaal Local Municipality or a Local Government Authority.
