Our Talent Team is looking for someone who is brilliant at the basics to fill the role of a Sales Rep with great adaptable skills to join our Baking Division based in Benoni.

Responsibilities

•  Provide monthly action plans and implement a minimum of four displays per month.
•  Compile and execute monthly action plans to achieve customer-specific targets.
•  Follow a set route list weekly to ensure consistency.
•  Conduct weekly review meetings with agents.
•  Attend weekly sales meetings every Friday at 08:00.
•  Distribute and share sales information, statistics, and updates on a weekly basis.
•  Manage agents effectively, ensuring regular communication and co-travel with agent sales staff.
•  Identify and rectify weak points with agents, ensuring they are informed of all marketing activities and executing them effectively.
•  Ensure agents manage shelves efficiently and meet all sales objectives.
•  Implement promotional plans to achieve sales volumes.
•  Manage promotions, including Friday promotions and Saturday promotions when applicable.
•  Demonstrate and promote the sales of Bread as part of the monthly targets.
•  Develop a regular calling cycle with all traders in the area and consistently canvass for new business.
•  Ensure correct merchandising and promotion of company products in all outlets, using all available display materials.
•  Continually negotiate for improved shelf space for company products in all outlets.
•  Identify opportunities to increase sales through existing customers and by acquiring new customers, either with or without agents and sales staff.
•  Maximize sales and grow market share by providing support to agents and customers.
•  Establish and maintain a high level of customer service.

Requirements

•  Matric.
•  Degree in Sales or Management or equivalent will be an added advantage.
•  Valid EB drivers licence (Code 8).
