Responsibilities

•  Fulfill all duties required of a Classroom Assistant.
•  Uphold the ethos of the school.
•  Prepare children holistically for the next grade.
•  Assist in ensuring school readiness.
•  Conduct continuous assessments throughout the year and communicate results to parents through interviews and written reports.
•  Collaborate effectively as part of a team to contribute to the school’s success.
•  Adhere to a well-structured daily program.
•  Participate in school-wide events throughout the year.
•  Integrate learning activities through the active involvement of the child.
•  Maintain an informal teaching style focused on learning through play.

Requirements

•  Minimum requirement is a Matric Certificate.
•  Must have experience working with young children in the same or similar type of position in a similar environment.
•  Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues, pupils, and parents.
•  Energetic, self-motivated, and capable of using initiative.
•  Strong ability to work effectively within a team.
•  Good organizational skills.
•  Effective communication skills.
•  Excellent rapport with young children.
