Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies require an experienced Cleaner for their Mall of Africa store. You will be responsible to maintain a clean and neat store, by Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards. The areas will include the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office and canteen.

Responsibilities

•  Maintain a clean and neat store according to Dis-Chem’s hygienic standards.
•  Clean various areas including the store floor, stock room, dispensary, admin office, and canteen.
•  Ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the store, especially before opening hours.
•  Develop and follow cleaning routines to maintain cleanliness.
•  Ensure canteen and restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary products.
•  Be available to clean up as needed during operational hours.
•  Use the correct cleaning products and equipment for specific tasks.
•  Ensure wet floor signs are visible when cleaning floors.
•  Be friendly, professional, and assist customers.
•  Perform duties in accordance with Health and Safety Regulations.

Requirements

•  Grade 12 / Matric.
•  A minimum of 6 months’ cleaning experience.
•  Sound command of the English language.
•  Basic customer service skills.
•  Willing and able to work retail hours.
•  Bilingual (advantageous).
•  Previous retail store cleaning experience (advantageous).
