This includes adhering to Alexander Forbes Operation and Administration procedures, industry requirements, and Service Level Agreements, while ensuring accuracy and timely service.

Processing various types of claims for Pension and Provident Funds. Revisiting claims as needed. Requesting housing loan settlement values for flagged members. Preparing monthly reports for client meetings. Completing recognition of transfer documents for exits. Preparing information for the financial year end of your funds. Preparing claims reports for internal/external clients upon request. Checking and acting upon all risk reports. Clearing emails and queries daily. Performing other related duties as required. Answering and making calls through a designated call center. Embracing and implementing TCF through the Service Center. Keeping knowledge up to date on industry trends and AFAS products and services.
Requirements Matric – Essential. Achieved or studying towards a retirement fund qualification or equivalent – Advantageous. Compass and Alex system knowledge. Computer literate (Outlook, Excel (intermediate), and Word (basic)). Good oral & written communication skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to anticipate and manage change. Innovative thinking and delivery. Understanding and applying Retirement Fund Rules. Understanding applicable legislation relevant to function.
