Hello…an exciting new opportunity has just become available in our HINT, People & Marketng area. We are looking to recruit a HR Intern.
The successful incumbent will support the HINT (Hollard International) People team with administrative and data related functions spanning across the entire HR value chain for a 12-month period.
The successful incumbent will report directly into the Senior HRBP and will provide support to the Head of People & Marketing, HRBP and by extension the Hollard International business subsidiaries in the rest of Africa.
Responsibilities
Providing administrative support to the team.
Involvement in the HINT People team’s HR analytics function by collating, sorting and cleaning data which aids in data integrity for reporting purposes as well as for input into various Hollard HR systems.
Organize and maintain personnel records, organograms and adhock HR documents.
Update internal databases such as leave, records, employee files etc.
First line support and redirection of HR related employee queries.
Participate in, coordinate and provide administrative support for planned annual HR projects and initiatives.
Advertise new roles and provide support to the team throughout the entire recruitment and onboarding value chain.
Support the team with invoice processing, payments and procurement related duties.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or Business Management or Information Systems.
0-1 years experience.
Some prior exposure to a corporate working environment will be an advantage.
Skills & Competencies
General knowledge of relevant HR legislation, policies and procedures
Must be computer literate with advanced skills in MS Excel and Ms PowerPoint
